Pyramid has Reading Specialists and School Psychologists
on staff.
Students can work with a Reading Specialist to pinpoint specific reading
difficulties. An individualized evaluation by a School Psychologist
can
assist in identifying your child’s aptitude, hidden strengths
and most
potential learning challenges.
Following the evaluation the Pyramid staff will develop an individualized
plan to best meet your child’s needs. Results from these tests
may be used
to determine appropriate school accommodations (i.e. extended time),
suggested teaching strategies, and in some instances, if a learning
disability
exits. Students will often qualify for additional supports at school
through
our evaluations.
